Machine Line

The Machine Line screen is a snapshot of the whole machine line: queued jobs, the quantity of doors and how many remain, and the status of each machine. Some line control is also available.

The Machine Line screen is shown when KvalCAM starts and after you select Add to Queue on the Door Job screen. To open it at any other time, select the Machine Line tab on the left of the screen.

Section	Description
Machine Activity (A)	For each machine: the job name, the quantity of doors, how many remain, and the machine's status.
Queued Jobs (B)	The upcoming jobs, in processing order.
Line Controls (C)	Common operations to control the whole machine line.

Machine Activity

The Machine Activity Section displays the processing information of each machine. The rows are color coded.

• Green: actively processing a door.
• White: the machine is idle.
• Orange: the machine is paused.

Machine: Lists the machines in the line.

Job: Lists the name of the Job being processed. The Job name reflects the name assigned in the Door Job Library.

Templates: The names of the Feature Groups (the types of cuts) being used.

Quantity: Lists the quantity of doors at the start of the Door Job

Remaining: Lists remaining quantity of doors left in the Door Job

Status: Lists the status of each machine.

Queued Jobs

The table can be sorted by selecting a column heading.

Queue Order: Lists the order of the jobs that are going to be processed.

Job: Lists the file name of the Job.

Template: Lists the File name of the Template.

Creation Time: Lists the time when the job is put in queue.

Quantity: Lists the quantity of doors at the start of the Door Job.

Commands: Select the Remove button to clear the job from the list.

Line Control

Auto Feed: Toggles the line between Auto Feed ON and Auto Feed OFF.

• Auto Feed ON: doors feed through each machine automatically.
• Auto Feed OFF: the feed must be started from each machine's operator screen.

Clear Queued Jobs: Clears every door job from the Queued Jobs table.

Home the Machine Line: Homes every machine in the line.

Reset the Machine Line: Resets every machine in the line.

WARNING

After resetting the machine line, you must home it before running doors.
